Call for Abstracts

Authors wishing to contribute papers to DNA Vaccines 2008 must submit not more then 4000 word abstract for review by the program committee under the following themes:

Scope
Abstract submissions are invited on all aspects of DNA vaccine technology. Basic research studies in areas of formulations, improved delivery, adjuvants, novel construct designs, Prime Boost strategies, and tissue-targeting strategies are encouraged. Also invited are papers dealing with infectious diseases, cancer vaccines, and immunotherapeutics for human and animal health. Research focused on novel delivery of therapeutic agents using nucleic acids for the treatment of human or animal health is also encouraged. Clinical studies of nucleic acid strategies for vaccine immunotherapy and therapeutic modulation including RNA technologies are appropriate. Papers highlighting advances in vaccine monitoring and immune analysis including cutting-edge antibody and T-cell response assays are sought. In addition, presentations focused on vaccine trial design strategies as they pertain to the further development of genetic vaccines are encouraged. Papers describing new methods for manufacturing, production or monitoring are encouraged.

General Policy:
Abstracts must be submitted by October 1, 2008 (Late Breaker Deadline: October 31, 2008) with a $50.00 processing fee.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the DNA Vaccines 2008 Program Committee, and a notice of acceptance or rejection will be emailed to the author. The Program Committee of the DNA Vaccines 2008 reserves the right to accept or refuse an abstract. Acceptance will be conditional on originality and no abstracts presented or published prior to the DNA Vaccines 2008 meeting should be submitted.

Instruction for oral/ poster presentation will be sent to presenting authors of the accepted abstracts. Presenting authors must register and pay the registration fees to ensure the rights for the presentation.
